Buying it separately from the same shop is still slightly cheaper.

Wonder why dont they just told me to wait for one more week for the promo. Of cause i know now is even cheaper, just that i want to be the first few to own one (if not, at least not behind 50 people in SG to own one) ha ha ha

I think that's because it's based on JPEG rather than the testing methodology used by DXO themselves. Canon has very aggressive NR at the expense of fine detail, so unless you correctly set the parameters, it will "look" cleaner.
But The Canon having such higher DR compared to the others? Kinda goes against everything Canon users and other reviews have shown. So it looks like they did not set up the test properly.

Do you mean the "signal to noise ratio"? There is a graph that says "raw signal to noise ratio".
I don't own a digital Canon SLR but I think DXO's low Canon ratings are overrated. DPR doesn't rate Canon's dynamic range that low either, it's more in line with this one. Anyway, it doesn't make a difference for me.
Btw in the US Sony ships the A99 with a free 32" HDTV right now.

WOW 32 inch HDTV at that price.. sony is very very aggressive on their marketing.. their MSRP of 3899 for a new launch is very quickly dropped down within a matter of weeks within launch.

haha if that happens.will 100% be getting another just for the free 65inch 4k resolution tv set.
