Hong Kong, like Singapore, has never ending clearance sales.

a little shift can avoid the reflection on the model's eye.

yes, very true.. an alternative is to use cpl, right? was a snapshot of the moment, didn't quite think of the details, cos my focus was on the solid words :)

A old lady walks along the pavement when I was walking to the Kowloon Walled City Park - will be posting up some IR done there later on when I process it. Was wondering if I should shoot her as Asian elderly usually do not like it, particularly Chinese, because of superstition.. Tried to be as claudestine as possible, but failed.. So she looked up, no response, just shot one and quickly moved on. :dunno:

From the old springs the new. Kowloon Walled City was a nest of crime, full of brothels, gangsters and sin until it was finally evacuated in 1984 and torn down in 1993. As a point of interest, Jackie Chan's 1993 Crime Story was filmed here at one point in time. The Park was built in 1995, and it is an amazing piece of park - full of nicely designed buildings based on the Jiangnan garden style of the early Qing dynasty, and has won awards! :)

This is something at the entrance from the adjacent Carpenter Road Park. In case anybody asks, while certain amount of PP has been done to this picture, it is an infrared picture, hence the tones and extreme sky contrast and glowing foliage. :)

Tourists swarm the Bruce Lee statue placed in the Avenue of Stars as always. Was trying to catch a few jokers who were trying to emulate his pose and failing horribly but in the end gave up, due to the awkward angle that was available. In the end resorted to a girl who was relatively isolated and providing a good line of sight with the statue, and all careful planning went astray when some random dude barged in front of me. Gave up, and this was the only shot I kept.

:bsmilie: i thought this makes an interesting shot, that man barged in nicely and replaced what might have been just an empty spot with some motion, in contrast to the rather still individuals behind

yar, haha, sometimes i like how things unintended, like overexposure, or sudden dynamic changes in the scene before you,.. somehow improve the picture.. :)

hard to explain the feeling, it's like getting a good lomo picture. :)

Hong Kong Wetlands Park provides very enthuastic young tour guides - the one that took us was certainly 20-25 years of age, and they are voluntary. He also had a 14-16 year old helper who was pretty friendly as well. Unfortunately, I do not speak Cantonese, and cannot understand it, but my parents did so I just tag along lor. The little helper was trying to talk to me about the scenery and camera, I guess.. But he didn't understand Mandarin, so we left it at that.

This was a rest at the pavillion - one of the other people on the group went to look at the lotus flowers at that side, and I took this shot when waiting for the tour to continue, was a bit bored. :)

This has a feeling one gets from viewing anime with HK in the storyline. Good soft tones and color.

thanks a lot bro

this one happens to be my favourite of the whole lot i got from hong kong :)

Part of a display in the Visitor Centre of the Park. Not a real deer. Some of my friends thought it was real. :dunno:
