Hey Manita, tks. You may not believe it but I have been following (silently) your thread and wowed at your wonderfully beautiful take of the scenary around Singapore. Really

 - at a later time, the bright flourescent lights went off and were replaced by a more subdued lighting - pity I didn't take a shot.

I almost missed this as we were about to board the bus. Wish it was a little darker to bring out the lights.

While everyone is busy shooting Bagan's sunset on the top of a temple, here is a temple standing under the grey sky with tall wild grass in the front, silently telling its glory pass and hopeless present.

My version of the sunset over the Bagan plains. I wish I had the "molester" to help me with my rays and colours :bsmilie:

You are my sunshine,
My ONLY sunshine,
You make me happyyyyy,
When skies are grey ...
:)

No, i think you were taking the photo of the Buddha right ?
Nope nope nope.
As I already confessed... I was scared stiff trying to come down the tunnel.
I had sudden attack of claustrophobia. HAHAHA....!
What to do? Scalp-skin-hard-hard also must climb down mah...!

EDIT: Oh now I see your point! Yes, I made a mistake. You all were shooting at the Htilominlo Temple there!
And if that is the place then yes, I was photographing the Buddha in AE Bracketing at that moment!

Oh.... Chempaka yah, Chempaka!
This is the old run-down ruin of a temple in the centre of the hotel compound which I was so amazed by.
But sadly didn't have the time, the opportunity nor the energy to explore.
What a pity, what a pity.
But you have gotten the shot.
A full throttled Thumbsup to you!

This one everybody missed out (I think). In same vincinity.

And you too, Divinemoment!
We all were walking back to the hotel and we glanced at this Gawdawpalin Temple and we said "Eeeeee... the flouresecent lights spoilt the mood..."
But yet, you captured it in its native state!
Good shot, Divinemoment. Good shot!

A lot of kids we encountered in Myanmar get used to beg or demand something from tourists, but this little girl, maybe 3 or 4 years old, is helping her mother, untie the string. When I took her photo, she simply ignored me and very concentrated on her job. Thumb to her!

We make a good duet, daoyin :)

Ai yoh, how to sing along with one as smooth as yours.

Night shot of Gaw-Daw Palin stepple. Last shot for the day. Many of the famous temples are illuminated at night resulting in such scenes.
