so confused about all the camera ... all seems same... is not sharp...
Hi Chery08,
There are pros and cons in each camera, if you want shart pictures, low noise and good low light senstitvities, then the only way out is to go for DSLR, but then it is more expensive and bulky. If you want small and convenient, you can only expect reasonable picture quality. Most P&S camera has its limitations. That is why I own few cameras:
1. Nikon D80 with 18-200mm VR lense + SB800 + SD8A, I use this setup when I want to take good pictures like friends wedding, company events, sure good pictures and never mis any instance.
2. Nikon D40 with Kit lense + SB400 when I want good pictures but not in very demanding situation.
3. Fuji Z5 for carrying around all the time for convenient, And also as back up for my D80 when I shoot for my friends wedding.
Sorry to make this remark here: most of us forget about the reason of using the camera, unless you are an artist who want to show your piece of art. Most of the time we take photos for memory sake, if you look at the picture generally and don't do pixel peeping (blow up to full size and look at each pixels), you will enjoy the photos. the problem is that, we got into situation of looking for perfections and instead of looking at the information, we are zooming into the technical detail of each picture.
For examle: take a photo of your love one, display the photo on the screen (fit the picture in the screen and don't do 100% view), look at the person in the photo and enjoy the beauty of the person, you will not notice those tiny pixel noise. The problem today is that you are taking photos of objects that are not of your interest, and you are looking at the detail of each pixels, you will not be happy, until you buy the S5Pro with Nikon 17-55mm F2.8 lense, but then you will complain that it is too heavy.
You will not be happy with any of the pocket size camera, becaus each of then has its limitation, whatever model you buy, instead of appreciating its strenght, you will be unhappy with its limitations, and you will be searching again.
No offence and just my 2 cents worth of personal opinion.
