and there is a difference. i'm involved in photoscape, while i think reportage is involved in event coverage. 2 very different things actually.

ours is to just make this legacy wall thingy. theirs will be used for press i think:think:

Just got a direct reply...ticket holders are not allowed to use DSLR within the competition venue. exact wording is as follows,

"......regarding the use of DSLR cameras. We regret to inform you that DSLR cameras are not allowed in the Singapore 2010 competition venues. You may take personal photos inside the venue but professional photography, camera videoing or any recordable devices, in any forms of visuals or audio are strictly prohibited. Please note that flash photography is strictly prohibited once competition is in progress on the Field of Play."

but i am guessing many will try to bring in anyway eg. from the number of gymnastics tickets chopped up.

can i ask you guys if you have seen any foreign press photographers covering this event? i have yet to see the pictures from them for this event, or is it really true that there isn't any other new agency except the SPH to cover this event?

According to some other CSers, there has been little international media coverage on YOG, so I expect there shouldn't be many (if any) international news agencies covering YOG.

The thing is, will they take the volunteers' photos and credit them to SPH and make them free to download?

I do not know where you guys got the info of little international coverage from.

I was just shooting side by side a FIFA-accredited photographer. Just go to FIFA website and his photos are there.

Furthermore, Getty Images and AP are here as well.
