I do not know where you guys got the info of little international coverage from.

I was just shooting side by side a FIFA-accredited photographer. Just go to FIFA website and his photos are there.

Furthermore, Getty Images and AP are here as well.

most likely they get info from volunteers that are stationed in the carparks. :bsmilie:

ah another day has dawned. Dont know if want to feel pity for those who kenna arrow to shoot outdoors...chances are they will end up as red as boiled lobster for the more viewable photo positions.

The FIFA commission guy is called Julian Finney. Quite a nice fella, i had a small chat with him during half time of match 2 last night.

met a guy called matos carlos. very interesting guy, speaks 6 languages and is working as a translator. he say he gonna be off for his sports photography soon and is a proud canon user!

Yup usually my day starts at SRC den after lunch i will go YOV to walk around or the Olympic Gallery becoz i seem to get a lot of my athletes there :bsmilie:

Actually if you want to make it easier for yourself, what you can do is pass a note to your athletes that you will be at a convenient location for a period of time during the games. That way, they know where you will be and for how long. You are also in control of the location so chances are, you will make better portrait shots and if they bring friends...extra bonus.
