moldevite, thanks for the very beautiful set of pictures. Please share some details like lens used, exposure info and yes location.

Waterways... can I guess either Lijiang? Zhouzhuang? or Suzhou?

Nice shots, moldevite. I'm sure it's taken somewhere in China, but can't guess where it is...

Here's a shot of an old hand-me-down violin taken by my 8yr old son. 50mm f1.4 at f5.6 Av mode, handheld. Straight jpeg.

moldevite great shots. The reflection is lovely & those doorway shots are well composed.

night86mare is a master of landscape (HDR & IR);) The most beautiful part is that he's using the 18-55mm kit lens:thumbsup:

Thanks! Just lucky to get a good sunset, I guess, along with gorgeous clouds. Always thankful for that luck.

IR is fun, try it too!

I know you good with HDR & IR, but now this also... You number one on my hate list liao:bsmilie: Star lenses might be gems, your eyes are diamonds.

hi all, thanks for opening a thread for us, yours pics quiet goods, as a newbie i will try to match your level.went in china for holidays and faced a very white sun, white sky and hazy sun everyday, making me light managment a hell, especially for landscape, giving a greyish tone to eveything.i will try to post few when i have 3 minutes.

enjoy the week

nice pictures, I am planning to buy K100D this afternoon, after weeks of research and reading through this forum, Final decision now is either to stick with the kit lens or buy tamron 18-200
