nice pictures, I am planning to buy K100D this afternoon, after weeks of research and reading through this forum, Final decision now is either to stick with the kit lens or buy tamron 18-200

The Tamron 18-200 has better built but the Sigma 18-200 is optically better.
But to maximise on coverage, perhaps you can consider the Tamron 18-250 instead. Sigma does not have one in that range yet, i think.

thanks, I got the sigma 18-200. have been trying it out and so far I am happy with the pictures taken, with more practice hopefully I can post pictures here at par with the beautifull pictures you guys have been posting,

Decided to bring my K100D and Sigma 18-200 to the Navy Open House for versatility and portability. Realised the sensor has dust but too late, so no choice but to crop the images...sigh...too 200+ photos.
