Whao kao u forget the cookhouse vege got that bitter taste and got sand inside. u must finish your food and the cb cook see skinner fellow giv a lot of rice see fat fallo giv a spoonfull of rice only.

..and rice with stones and sand in it.

Anyone still remember the socks hang in the cookhouse kitchen? Its say for brewing coffee..:ipuke:
 

yahhahaha... and those unfortunate ones who bring yummy snacks/cookies, sure kena plundered with 15mins of snack news breaking out while in the bunks. :bsmilie:


And also a chance to go for canteen break like 'prison break', all the recruits in the black PT shoes and PT kit rush and queue for the barchor mee like 7mth hungry ghost festival :confused:

the bee hoon soup was called bee hoon 'kosong'.

And our area cleaning include cleaning their kitchen, stoves, scrubbing pots n pans etc .... :confused:
 

Last time tonner not so high and got no seatbelt. and V-com no need to wayang and get off tonner to guide driver when they gostan.

And Friday got chicken wing.....but now everyday oso got.

Also, during drill, your n0.3 is like a card board and even your belt have to shine.

You never see before eh bro? Put a name tag hanging on the handle and you would think they just got off from Changi Airport!!! Unbelieveable man!! I still remember my Ali-baba bag.... just dump and go!! Drag on the floor also will not break man!! Wish I had keep it with me...... Can put my little gals inside!! hahhhaa.......;p
 

Ha! I experienced most of them too. Life in army did change a lot now. To be honest, I’m starting to enjoy my reservist now but sad to say that I’m going to ROD soon :(

Yeah, I really missed those days too!! Away from the wife and kids....... just have fun like a boy!! Wah..... so nice to talk **** and sing song...... now its gone. Enjoy while you can, you will miss your army life... then u know you are getting old.... :dunno:

And cannot understand why so many people still complain......... and I seriously think the SAF is gettign too soft with the recruits..... its time to bring in the OLD BIRDS!!
 

I used to be an instructor in Nee Soon Camp (Hotel Coy), my inchik was Lee Kim Pan. Anyone from there? Oct 87-Sept 89

My recruit time was in Tekong (ITD), Lion Coy (Camp III - 6th storey without lift) - Mar 87 - Jun 87

Then was off to SAFINCOS (Bravo Coy) - Jun 87 - Sept 87.

Lets see if can find some army buddy in here........ heheheh........

We always termed this type of solder as "Chao Ah Kuah!!" and our attention is always forcussed on them..... Day and night........... it was fun!! ehehhee......

Me too. It never stayed in place.

Still serving reservist. :cry: Can you imagine that! :angry: :bsmilie:
