I was told from one shop that the trade- in promotion for T1 must be deducted from the retail price. Only if you don't want trade in, then can buy at the shop's price.

But do make sure u buy from a authorized dealer and there's a warranty card in the box. If u send in an overseas set for warranty repairs in SG, they will have to verify that it's not an parallel import set before applying the warranty.

Without GST, the total lens price for grey set 23 n 56apd is already abt $2,800.
3670-2800 = $870 for the XT-1 + $400 assume no trade in = $1270 for a new xt-1, isn't that a good deal.
Is it easy to sell a used Nikon D80 for more than $400 is the deciding factor of whether I consider the trade off a good deal.

Perhaps you are right. Still it is good deal though not a great deal. The 56 n 23 totals abt 2410 with GST. That makes the xt-1 at $1260, adding $400, it becomes $1660. (Export xt1 abt 1.6k with gst).
With the freebies esp $150 ntuc voucher, local guarantee n battery, etc definitely value for money.

Not yet but been researching prior to this promo. Tempting it may be, as I like the X100S colour rendering.. Contemplating saving up for the 5DS or just splurge on another new system. Still got till 10 Aug.

No prob, have heard some overseas shops are now trying to play punk by saying there's no warranty card from Fujifilm and that a receipt is sufficient to collect warranty from Fujifilm - which is incorrect.

Buy once, check properly , buy right

I have no idea. I only presume they would be the same. I used the X100S for a photowalk with friends.On looking at pics on a full hd monitor, the colours were much appreciated by others who use other brands.
