Okay, pulled the trigger and got the black X-T1 with the additional free gifts of Kata bag and 32 GB micro SD card Although they wondered why I traded in a perfectly good X-E1...

Hope I don't regret also...

actually after comparing the prices based on TK foto's pricelist its only 246 bucks difference, trade-in vs non-trade-in for GS option. For black option its only 150 bucks difference.

if you bundle the NTUC vouchers then it goes up to 296 and 200. it's because without trade-in you still get a 100 bucks off the retail.

So do consider if you can get a better price in BnS, or whether you need the cash offset immediately. the 400 off is just a marketing gimmick, please do the actual math.

But of course if you do the lateral comparision from the previous Graphite Silver price to the current it should be around 300 off, plus the NTUC voucher will make it 450.

Just to check with those whom got the set with pwp lense. Are you able to redeem for the zeiss wipes at the redemption centre?

Was told by Ms color that it's possible but when performing the redemption they mentioned pwp lense were not inclusive.

I was told from one shop that the trade- in promotion for T1 must be deducted from the retail price. Only if you don't want trade in, then can buy at the shop's price.

Then you can always go to another one.

The wipe good ah. I thought just put on a uv filter then u can use anything micro fiber to clean Liao.
I always try to have minimum contact with the lens front and back element.

There's a 5% instant rebate now at funan, and ive got my set at a good price (second floor shop). Considering all this and the ntuc freebies voucher, I would say the price is very very close to malaysia set.
