Im using a full Nikon system too xD haha I have like 2 lenses only does that count? anyway it neatly fills in my midrange lens gap that I have. Nicely compliments my DSLR set up too. AF isnt really that slow. Slow to those who are pampered by ultrasonic motors but most definitely not slow. It would be a nice addition to anyone's area email really.

You still have your Nikon system with you? How long did you have XP1? Please update the usage/fequency usage of both system...

Haha. For me yes as I require a light body for daily shooting. You however may have different requirements. Stayig with your canon body will also mean you only require one charger if you travel

Changing to XP1 will saving more than 10kg of lens compare to few hundred grams or less charger... ;p

Anyway, I think I am correct to say that anyone who buy XP1 is trying to save on weight. So if weight is a non concern, then the user shld stick to their DSLR.

the gariz case is already out in ebay.

personally using the zelenpol case and find it nicer. up to personal preference btw.

Saw from eBay that the Gariz battery opening is left opened, or is there a cover for it? Seems like it is left opened.

Those got money can customizie from Luigi.
Though customizing will take 25-30days making and 2-4days fedex delivery.

Luigi's casing is expensive. But it's quality handmade.
Throw in a few customized option, it may cost more than USD$400.
1/2 casing at USD$270 (based on X100 casing he made), hope he give the premium strap as a package like X100. If sold separately, it cost USD$90.
Small pouch that can betached to camera strap USD$60.
Tripod nut USD$90.
Opening for battery cover = not known yet.
Fedex delievery SD $44.
Like high end Louis Vuitton/Prada store.
Think he stay in Milano Italy.

But Mr Zhou's casing is coming out in next couple of weeks so we will have a cheaper option.

i just got mine abt a week plus ago and went to taiwan with the xpro and the 35 alone. sure there were times i wish i had a wider lens or slightly faster AF but this is now my favorite walkaround and travel camera. can't beat it for the weight or the ease of use for travel. think i've had enough of lugging my full Nikon system around heh!

When I bought my $400 canon p&s, extra battery already cost $45. If compare this way heart & wallet is less painful.
However initially a bit disappointed with the battery life. If using for wedding shoot better to have another 4 on stdby.
Now just assume this is my miniature slr including the battery life and all the teething issues are only small and most often, but not entirely, neglectabe..

As in expensive when compared to my d7k battery. 2k shots in a single charge and costing only 58 dollars.

Voigitlander lenses are all MF lenses.

Fully manual lens, focus and aperture.

As to how easy to focus depends from person to person and experience. To me its quite easy as the D.O.F is so thin ,if this make sense.
Focus adjustments can easily be seen as everything else except for the focus point will be sharp.

Got my OEM battery from MS colour, 1 year warranty. Original is 1200mAh, the OEM ones are 2800mAh.
Selling at $35, think you can ask for a bargain.

I got it with a original filter, cost me $100 in damaged. The actual price for the original filter is $89.
