Yeah, I think I will pass on the VF2 for now... maybe wait until the price is more reasonable. In the meantime, save the $$ for a wide angle. Is the Oly 9-18mm a good lens? Saw there is another wide angle with constant aperture from Panasonic 7-14mm f4.
9-18 is smaller lighter, though not as sharp as 7-14 but it's a lens I wouldn't mind carrying out on trips. 7-14 is a very sharp lens but the price is more expensive, at 7mm though it's much wider and this can be fun yet difficult to use. Also 7-14 doesn't really allow filters in front, for landscape shooting can be restrictive. On epl1 would really recommend 9-18 coz there's in cam corrections as well which 7-14 is not. There's still some proprietary in each brand.
