Thanks bro! Wish I had the street-shoot thinking of yours!!

Here's one from beautiful Island of Taiwan

#19 Alishan, Elder sister pond.

Was on package holiday here with family last december, didn't have much time or chance to shoot, just did a quick one with a GND handheld. E-PL1+9-18mm.

#20 WenWu Temple (文武廟) at Sun Moon Lake (日月潭)

A definite must go place at the Sun Moon Lake, impressive temple with a sunset view of Sun Moon Lake. I wish I had longer time here to enjoy the view.

The colours are really BEAUTIFUL , I like it . Keep it up , add oil .

Thanks for sharing .

keep on posting. and post more.
How come only 1 pic each location..? ample space here, share more with us.

Very nice strong colors off the camera.
# 4 is simple and very effective.
The bit of zoom in out in # 13 is a little bit distracting though.

Thanks Mike, the guidelines of the thread says
e) Please refrain from posting multiple threads and too many pictures on the same trip. Be selective, and post only the best pictures for sharing with your fellow CSers. Post a link instead to your online photo album to share the rest of your pictures if necessary.

So I paiseh post too much, office no flickr access so only at night can post, and not many best photos. :bsmilie:

Thanks Ryan for your comments, appreciate very much! Been following your threads, simply awesome!
#13 is probably overdone due to timing? still learning, used a ND400 and tripod. Any suggestions to improve? Thanks

Thanks asthio88! Visited last April. Yes, still, in urban area, mainly under government protection.

Here's another Hutong shot,

#21 Rickshaw aplenty in Hutong area, be careful don't get ripped off by them. E-P1 + ZD 50.

#23 A real good coffee from Taiwan!

Chanced upon a real nicely packaged coffee in Taiwan, taste as good as it looks, highly recommended to try if one is there! 2 flavors. Mandheling is the stronger of the 2. Last shot of the night. Thanks for viewing so far;)

Ought to try this coffee when in Taiwan again. mandheling is stronger by wonglpnn, on Flickr

it looks like shampoo to me... :bsmilie:

"Shampoo" never tastes so good, must try! haha. Last shot of the night.

#24 Keelung Night Market 基隆夜市

A visit in Taiwan is never complete with a visit to night market. Keelung night market is a popular one in northern Taiwan, near Taipei.
E-PL1 + 20mm 1.7 (edited, thanks to supmylo's prompt!).

Great Series... ;)

Thanks Anson!

nice shots! am still considering whether to get the 9-18mm for my harbin trip this comming dec....

Thanks pasta! Its a great little lens that you wouldn't want mind just bringing it out, plus the possibility to mount filters, compared to 7-14mm. Btw, earlier keelung shot was done with 20mm, my bad. Here's another one with 9-18mm, confirmed this time:bsmilie:

#25 Jiu Fen Old Street (九份老街）

"A old street with nostalgic setting and rows of food stalls (beef noodles here is nice) and shopping (a shop called "Ah Xin (阿信）which has lotsa local tidbits here too, one popular tidbit is the charcoal peanuts). Too bad only had 2 hours here, if not would have more photography opportunity. Did some simple one step PP with iPhoto (antique effect), that's it, don't know if it's nice or not, dunno much about PP, so C&C much welcome! E-PL1+9-18mm"

Last picture of the night:

#26 Aborigines of Taiwan - Ah Mei Tribe (原住民 - 阿美族)

The largest tribe in Taiwan, mainly in Hualian, Pingtung, Taitung area. Most famous artistes from Ah Mei tribe Vivian Hsu and Show Lo. Very friendly people and certainly singing and dancing is in their blood. E-PL1 + voigtlander 35/1.4

#27 Fo Guang San (佛光山), Kao Hsiung, Taiwan

There's a serenity at this place that I like even though there's many tourist here. Maybe it's because of this scene. E-PL1 + voigtlander 35/1.4

#28 Tearing Guard, The Martyrs' Shrine (國民革命忠烈祠)

Martyrs' Shrine in Taipei is a place dedicated to the martyrs' that sacrificed their lives for the country. A change of guard happens every hour. This shot was of a guard who teared as they are not supposed to even blink, and with strong winds at times blowing past, that's tough. Personally one of my favorite shots of the trip. E-PL1 + voigtlander 35/1.4

tears rolling down, due to restriction of blinking...it's a tough life up there! by wonglpnn, on Flickr

Shall end the Taiwan portion, for more of Taiwan shots can view from my Flick page here. Next will post some Japan shots
