Been to Shanghai quite a bit, seldom get to see sunset as the pollution in the city is usually quite bad and summer sunset is around 7pm, which gives me more time to get there. A shot from the car to share of Lu Jia Zhui &#38470;&#23478;&#22068; , financial district of Pudong, Shanghai. Jinmao building on the far left, and "bottlecap building" - Shanghai World Financial Center(&#29615;&#29699;&#37329;&#34701;&#20013;&#24515 next to it.

A full 101 storeys, still the tallest building in China. @ 100th floor, there's an observatory. E-M5+Panasonic 7-14, didn't have any filters as still haven't found done DIY filter holder solution. had to run at F22, 13s to capture some moving clouds. Shot taken from 2nd level outdoor area.

Met an Italian gentleman and his friend from Milan, who were keenly interested in my camera and was amazed at the size and image quality. Took a shot of him to show him the IQ from the 45mm lens, i could see their eyes lit up literally. Gave me their namecard to send them the picture. The m43 format has really gone a long way

In Phuket for holiday with family this week, was contemplating to bring 2 cameras, but decided to just have one, E-M5, and glad I made that decision, actually was my luggage space that decided it Brought 4 lenses, Panasonic 7-14mm & 20mm, Samyang 7.5mm fisheye, Olympus 45mm. A small sling bag, brought tripod but didn't realy have much chance to use it. Not a whole lot of landscapes shooting as with a big group of 12 adults & 7 kids, alot of kids portraits & street shoot though, glad the E-M5 fast AF came into use at times.

Saw this DVD seller, found him pretty cool, ask for permission, he posed very cool! Shot was crossed process from picasa. E-M5+Panasonic 20mm/1.7.

#143 Sunset @ Mai Khao Beach

Mai Khao Beach is about 20min north of Phuket airport. Quite far away from hustle and bustle of Patong and town. Was staying at Marriot Vacation for 2 nights free under invitation to listen to a 90 min talk, the beach was quite far and take a buggy ride to the beach which is at JW Marriot side. The sunset there is pretty nice though. E-M5+7-14mm.

#147 Lemongrass House Phuket


Sharing a little place that one of my friends brought us to buy cheap and good aromatherapy & bathing stuff. A 500ml lemongrass diffuser bottle cost about $30+, and now my home toilet reeks of refreshing lemongrass ;p
Was shopping at Takashimaya some of the diffusers there are sold in the excess of $70 for 250ml bottle, regretted not getting more...Just google title and you shall find

#149 Umbrellas & Chairs!

Had a half day trip from Phuket to the Khai Islands (Khai Nai, Khai Nui, Khai Nok), shot of umbrellas+beach chairs was from Khai Nok Island, the most beautiful of the 3. Khai Nui is merely for snorkeling purpose. It's empty not because no tourist, but because need to pay, 150baht for 2 EM5+Panasonic 7-14mm.
