Keep it up , add oil .
Thanks for sharing .
Thanks supmylo for dropping by with encouraging words & adding oil:)

Great fisheye shots. Inspired by your skills I recently got myself a m43 FE.
Thanks hope107fm, my skills are still mediocre compared to many others on this forum, still learning. Hope you will enjoy the FE lens as much as I do, post some pictures too!:)

Love those shots on NZ, I miss the place, I live there for total of 9 years!
Thanks Arran for dropping by! Wow, 9 years, I hope I can have just 9 days I will be so happy!!!

Some art filters OOC jpeg, and again, just one fun part of the Olympus camera. Keyline a new art filter which enhances the edge and it simulates anime.

#113 Princess Bridge

Another art filter shot, the Dramatic tone art filter.
Used with good weather or bad weather, it can pop the scene, sometimes can kill it too:bsmilie:

#114 Crown Casino @ Yarra River, Melbourne

Sunset is rather early now, by 6pm it's almost pitch dark. So the sky wasn't all that nice when I reach there after work. Though there are some cloud movements. E-M5+9-18mm.

#115 Crown Casino by day along Yarra River.

The convention centre is just across the road, was there for a few days so get to pass by this part of Yarra River and famous Crown Casino. Lovely weather greeted me on some days I was there. Taken with E-M5+9-18mm. 3 shots blended photomatix.

#116 South Wharf Sunset, Melbounre

Located just beside the convention centre, the sunset here is very nice. The arch bridge is Seafarer's bridge. There are many F&B outlets here, so can be rather relaxing to have a cuppa or dine here.
E-M5+9-18mm.

#117 Southern Cross Station, Melbourne.

Situated in downtown Melbourne, used to be called Spencer Street, but renamed in 2005 to Southern Cross after redevelopment, has become one of the busiest station in Melbourne. Taken with E-M5+Samyang Fisheye 7.5mm

I am curious. Do you shoot in raw all the time? The colors of your images are fantastic.

hi, I shoot JPEG like 90%, raw is for more critical landscapes. Most posts here are jpeg. Not sure which shots you meant if you can give me numbers I can know whether raw or JPEG. I do some post process from simple levels, contrast, sat, wb, to more recently exposure blend with photomatix. I use the picture mode of vivid for landscapes, natural for portraits, ienhance with +2 saturation for sunrise/sunsets. Hope that helps:) let me know your thoughts or further questions. Thanks for dropping by again!

No specific photos, actually. But #117 Southern Cross Station is very nice and I was wondering if it was shot in RAW to get the highlights and shadows so well-balanced. If it was in JPG, then I must say your skills - compositional and post-processing - are great! I recently purchased LR4 and have been shooting some RAW images. LR4 is very good at recovering highlights provided they are not too overblown. Even using it on JPG images can be helpful.

Inspired by your Samyang FE photos I went and bought one. You can view my fish-eye set in my flickr. Btw, you are a contact on my flickr.

Thanks again hope107fm! #117 is using EM5, it's jpeg as there's no RAW updates for my iPhoto software yet. I think the EM5 DR is quite a bit better than EPL1, plus I did highlights recovery on iPhoto, that's 95% of my shots are done from there, simple freeware on iMac. Original has quite a but of blown highlights. So not really much to my PP skills compared to many others here, the fact is the FE lens is super wide to capture the scene and I tend towards more symmetry in FE shots. Aperture will be for more serious landscape stuff, though I'm quite lazy tbh;p

PS: Should visit Pinnacle soon after seeing your FE shots! Seems you have multiple formats too!

Yes the Pinnacle is worth the $5 entry fee. Best to go there around sunset time. I gather it's the best time to shoot.

I am one who loves to shoot buildings, so the FE is useful for that purpose. I am on the lookout for a used 9-18mm m43 lens :-)
