when money is not issued, i will not buy both....

for me, owning a lot is not equal to fun.

i prefer simple setup, lesser equipment and spend more time fun shooting =)

each person has a limited time of 24 hours per day to explore their systems..... if too many equipments, how to master?

i rather concentrate on 1 system a few lens and try to master them . ha ha ha ha
I wish to have your 'simple' setup also... We exchange? My simple setup for yours? :D Mine is very easy to use.

Unless there is something my current system cannot do or nikon did something very stupid against its customers then I will not change system or even have backup and redo the whole learning process again. I'm a nikon user so change to oly, fuji, canon = no, well maybe yes to fuji since I can reuse the lenses and it is kinda like nikon. medium format? As an alternative but still won't give up nikon.

Personally, I would like to own all the systems if I can. When bored with one, then "play" with the other cam.

I guess your question is not about changing camera system, but rather "what is your ultimate system" right?

Imagine, a photographer usually start collecting the system as a newbie, a few years (or years) down the road, changes and improvement in experience, income, knowledge, preference, skill level, technology etc will happens...so will there still be a need to change the system?

Know a guy who start of with olympus and when he got better (skill) and richer, he switched to Nikon. Another fren sold off his EOS 10D collection for the (then) new Minolta DSLR ...just because he iikes Minolta!

so simple, don't plug

Money is not an issue?

Lets see.... A Nikon setup consisting solely of prime lens. A Canon full frame setup with the 3 standard f/2.8s. A Minolta general setup for travel.

How many GFs do you own? :)

I don't mind - just as long as I can shoot shoot shoot!

I'll just upgrade my system in the same brand and use the rest to join more shoots !!!

Talking about money not an issue, it almost happen to me yesterday. bought Toto at the same outlet and the same system as the Winner. A cool $1.48million at that. Sadly wasn't me:cry:
Coming back to the subject, I would get the FF DSLR as well as the 1.6xLF DSLR. I probably won't change system. Unless Some maker comes out with a camera that has anti-shake, dust removal, FF, live pic LCD..... all in one:)
