Why pay to shoot models?

Actually, I also got try that le but not on the streets lah. I approached my friends and told them about my intention and almost beg them to do a shoot with me. Sigh...

I also ask people from Friendster you know? So far only managed to get one to do only. Hee hee hee...

do let us know when you get another target....maybe you can organise a shoot?

Hi all,

I am pretty new to photography and just came to know about this interesting forum.

Can someone tell me why you would pay a non-professional model and shoot?? I saw some pics which the model can't pose nor pretty!!! I always think the models should be the one paying instead!!

Is it for the experience or fun or....?? :dunno:

I can think of some advantages of paying for a model even a non-professioanl one.

Time is money. You pay for their time. You don't want to let people to think you are taking advantage of them. And they will be more forthcoming for the future shoots if you want some more.

Model Release without payments I don't think they would want to sign away model releases. And without model releases those photos would have limited commercial usage.
