Why don't I join the photoshoots?

Most the outings I go to, I am probably one of the oldest, so that makes me an uncle.... :cry:

trash.. the usual. my D300 owes your mini D40, that day i walked pass an uncle taking some model along raffles place evening i think.. it seems like he was increasing his shuttle count at an alarming rate more than compositing his photos.

that's besides the point. perharps gen gap? more or less noob will feel left out in such events. isnt it so?

I have gone to many outings, never had such problems lor. At least no one laff at my D70. Whether retiree or young 14 year old, no one really cared about what gear. All we did was shoot.
There was once, I was the only DSLR user, 2 other prosumers and 1 compact.

truth to be told, i have met many nice CSers and in fact most of them never really like to go for these gatherings.. i mean its kinda weird a group of 7 crowding ard a peacock to shoot. just my 2 cents. canon photo marathon v good example of the class difference between the "L" lenses and the rest. you get what i am driving at?

Just have to look around and find the right outing lor. Look around, you will find some quality ones.

Abit young cause only 14 (15 soon) this year and must study hard for 'O' levels. But if there is a chance I don't mind giving it a try as everything must try mah if not will not know if its interesting anot. Just my opinion...:sweatsm:

lol EVERYTHING must try? disturbing.... i haven't gone for outings so far cause i'm busy with work and honestly, i feel my skills are too inferior to most of the more experienced shooters whose outings i prefer to go for. i shy la. :embrass:

i find that most people in CS are pretty friendly
i used to shoot alone too
but after joining others for shoots,i find that its more fun to shoot together
just try once,it wouldnt hurt

Find the timing bad, mostly around 9-12am.
Lighting is harsh around this hour.
Should have it around 1700-1930.
