Why do you stick to Sony DSLR?

Using A33 now.

Faster AF, video, sweep panorama, CZ lens, super steadyshot, in body AF, articulated LCD, EVF with no cropping and many many more...

Hello, i just want to ask all of you the reason why you stick to sony dslr, despite being heavily criticize by the majority of the public. Much of us here can afford C,N,O, and P, but why stick to sony?

The purpose of this question is to encourage newbies and to eliminate any doubts about sony dslr by reading all of your answers.

Please RESPECT the answer of everybody.

Lots of reasons, but i will just give a few

a) Which other brand can u find a Full Frame DSLR for just 2k+?

b) Minolta lenses are one of the cheapest lenses in the 2nd hand market. And they're usually Full Frame lenses too.

c) Sony has been very innovative in their DSLRs. Sony came out with Sweep Panorama, Handheld Twilight, Auto HDR, 10FPS (yes canon has 10fps, but only in their professional DSLRs), and phase detection autofocus in live view as well as video mode, when every other brands has been stuck with the lousier contrast detection AF and yet did nothing to improve on it.

Sony is the only company which dared to be different, to try something new in their DSLRs, whereas other brands are just merely adding more resolutions in their new DSLR bodies as their "improvements".

Why SONY?

Because sony has the best AF LV in the dslr market... ( I don't know to shoot using VF )

I started with a500 and I think with its specs its much cheaper as compared with others and now Im using a580..

Im just really comfortable using the LV with its tiltable lcd...

Actually.. I got no idea @.@"

I'm having an A500 and I chose Sony because I believe a camera is about optics, sensor and battery. In optics department, Sony has CZ and Minolta legacy. I'm happy with my Minolta lenses for now. On sensors, IMO Sony has very good technology. Back illumination sensor on A580 is great. In body stabilization is a big plus point for a hobbyist like me. On battery front, can't argue with 1000 shot battery life on A500.

I like Sony because it goes well with my favorite adage.

"I speak softly, but I carry a big stick!" ~ Bugs Bunny

Plus, I know the controls like the back of my hand.;)

That means sony is not new to cameras.

I had loan the d700,1dsmk2 a900,a850 from friends. I think all are pretty decent cameras and in circumstances can be as equally awful in wrong n bad shooting environment . The sony ff may not be the best in speed and high iso, but for the price and the superior ui. I confident enough to use it for wedding shop. When look back most can't which pics are taken with which cameras

Bro... you have have many many friends.... hahaha.. ;)
