who are divers on CS?

we all do the shouldnt do things every now and then, like i went solo diving on liveaboard, nobody signal to me when they all ascended, and i stayed there for more than an hour at around 12-15m. nothing happened, all of us still happy and laughing at it. but at hindsight, it wasnt a good thing to do lo, especially one instructor came behind me in the waters, tried to scare me, and just went off like that. not as if they couldnt see me. but ok la, back safe and sound...

Erm, and you didn't ascend when you didn't find anyone? And you didn't check your own time? What happen to your buddy? Did you make sure that she dives without weight belt next dive :bsmilie:

But 12-15m is still quite ok, not much of a concern. In fact at 12m you can be there for some 2 hours if you have no residual nitrogen time. At 30m it becomes 22min bottom time only. 30+ m for 1 hr, gosh.

it started to rain.. they don't want to bring us out in the rain.. imagine i go manado for 4d3n only do 4 dives.. but the night dive is beautiful.. very very beautiful

frisky: the whole thing was about 60min or so. i think they left me for only like a few min, cos when i ascended, which i did la, after finning one whole round and finding not a single diver, all of them were on the boat liao. the last few were still queueing to climb up the ladder. so agar agar left me there for maybe 3-5 mins lo. i didnt blame the buddy la. shallow depth and quite clear vis, forget it lo. but i was rather stunned though. wa lao, really never call me, ta ma de, but they were all looking at the waters see i ascend liao le ma la.

I think if the vis is bad, they probably notice that you are missing when they are back at the resort........

oh, and in defence of that buddy, i think we all contracted the lazy bo chap thing of the dive operator then... this time round we all kept quite close. small group, including DM five of us. always can see each other, and we take care of everyone, buddy or no buddy. on one dive have to ascend liao, think at turtle house ah. suddenly i see a jellyfish beside me going down a few metres. i went for it man. they were doing the safety stop, got drift. so they couldnt see me quite fast. just one minute nia and my buddy came in search for me. at the same time i already done with the jellyfish and noticed no one around. from far i could see a very blur figure (due to low vis) coming towards me. so, she was ok lo. very good buddy ^_^

ya thats what i think too. maybe he did multilevel but only remembered the 30m part, haha.. thats what i think la. still think not very possible to do 30m for one hour.. 70min at 12-15 min i was only left with 40bar then. not a very low air consumer then, but still.. my deep dive this time 31m for 30min-35min or so actual bottom time excluding safety stop i left 90bar.... one hour? bu hui ba.
