10-22: widely used for landscape & building interiors
17-55: the walkabout lens that allows low light photography handheld
70-200: for portraits closeup facial expressions
580ex: to bring out the natural colours/exposure on indoor shots
in fact i also bring my laptop to sort/backup my photos, tripod, filters, cable release, spare CF cards, spare batteries, charger, lens cleaner, bag rain cover, and most importantly..... TRAVEL INSURANCE to insure the equipments.![]()

17-55 and 70-200 was all i carry in the past, until i met 10-22 and 580exII :sweatsm:
the 10-22 is damm cool..... esp indoor shot where space is a constrain.....
Intend to bring these for a ten day trip and calculated total weight to be 6.00 kg, think it's too much ?

Anyone tried carrying a 6 kg weight in a 1O days tour ? Did a search, closest was a thread in 2002 but no mention of weight. Maybe start training by carrying a pack of 5 kg bag of rice. :think:
