Got my LX3 at Alan Photos SL yesterday for

this looks is a better package than what mscolor is offering...
bought mine at mscolor already...

yesterday..i was at harbourfront and checked out this electronic shop (located near ferry check-in)...was quoted $679 for LX3 (there's still stock) and comes with a 4-GB card and casing. they seem pretty negotiable...'cos we were also asking for the price of TZ15 and they were willing to match the lowest quote that we've got - which is $515 (comes with 2x4GB SD card, casing & tripod).

In the end, did you purchase the TZ15 or the LX3?

You can always use your leg in place of zoom... :bsmilie: No lah... just joking... if LX3 is your only camera... you may find the zoom limiting.. :think:

the only worry i got is i dunno how to use the function of this cam and don't use the best out of it ..
well the other cam i got is a much lower range fx10.. which i decided to get a new cam becoz of the photos ..seems like not sharp enuff or is it bcoz of the user

u could try to get a telelens to extend the zoom range then again this adds to both cost and weight of the cam

Sometime you just can't "walk" to compose your the photo... due to various reason.. That why a longer zoom come in handy. There is of course a function called EZ zoom function to extend the zoom range in the LX3.

i dun think u really aware of what this camera is capable of
seriously suggest u go to the shop and have a hand on with this 2 cameras and see whichever u like...just hold the two in yr hand and do the choosing yrself...rather than we tell u

simlim is a very dangerous place for buying such stuff....if u dun knw the shop or the staff .
suggest try alan photo and ask for a guy call richard, Op afaik do not seem to have any lx3 for sale..
Song Bro...someone did ever commented their service also not that ideal...but when came to price matching...they can be quite flexible...
remember to ask if it include gst or not if the price is too good to be true

my main camera will still be FZ50...LX3 is just for fun and something that i use when i really wish to travel light...
