Yes, wanted to get the i version but the salesperson told me that the mic connection spoils easily and recommended me to get the non i version. So I got confused. :bsmilie:

Wow so many Westone and Shure users! Back in 05 when I first got mine, no one knew what are they. Westones are quite rugged, mine when thru lots of abuse and they survived.

I got my UM2 in '07 and used the short comply foam tips. In '08 I got UM56 tips, then in '10 when I broke the shell, I got the custom remolds and mod

Anyone have a good lobang on where I could get a pair of Westone 1. They used to sell at $199, then after a S'pore base company took over the dealership.... the price when up to $269+ :sweat: I've tried looking for them over the internet, in places like Amazon.... but due to warranty issue.... Amazon don't sell them to non US 'areas'.

Could anyone recommend ?? :think:

I've got UE Super Fi which I busted it after 3-4years of abuse. Quite worth the $$ considering it last that long.

lately, I'm on Westone UM1, not as great as the UE but gets the job done.
