I got itchy fingers, want to get a tamrac super pro 14 and a lowepro stealth reporter 550aw. Aside from the tamrac, every other bag was bought last week, so I can't push my luck!

Actually...there are instances when i realized my bag is/was too big or contains too much stuff...when i go birding and need to travel really light...but usually....if i find my bag too big means....I'm being attack by BBB virus to fill up the bag with more gear...

I've got bags that are too big, that's why I need to get different sized bags

It depends on the contents of your wallet / bank account...more budget...bag will not be too big cos you can buy more gear to fill it up...Haha

Loving this bag big time as it holds all my equipment outside of my Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod, 680 monopod, Cullman Magnsit ballhead, 2 Nano lightstands with umbrellas (am looking for a bag for these now), and a 5-in-1 circular reflector. The only bag better than the Tamrac Ultra Pro 13 is the Super Pro 14, which I'm having problems locating in Singapore.

Gosh~~~~~.... that is one heavy bag you have.... i think my back will break.

why wrong item? u bring tripod and flash out everytime u shoot? for general walkabout i guess just ask yourself, will i be using these things? trim down equipment lah, your back will thank you for it.

For photowalks, I just bring 70-200 and 24-70 on body, and an sb900. That's pretty much it

the tripod is those mini 'pen length' one.. haha.. just incase i walk till night and need long exposure time shots..

i have a safrotto bag i got from TCW for $40 or 50 if im not wrong. i use it in 3 different combinations. either with my:

1. Lumix G1 + 14-45mm and a minolta 50/1.4 prime + adapter (digital only day)
2. Minolta X-500 with 50/1.4 prime + 28mm prime (film only day)
3. G1 + 14-45mm, X-500 + 50mm, and 28mm or 50/1.7 prime. (kiasu day)

i usually go with either 1 or 2 lah, but sometimes 3 when my gf tags along in my photowalk, so need to bring another camera for her. I rarely change lenses, forcing myself to usually stick with the 50/1.4 most of the time.

here's the set up for kiasu day no 3.

here's how my bag looks like.

it actually has a zippered top, but i cut it open cos i found troublesome to zip and unzip the bag to take stuff out. and my camera got scratched by the zipper once so yeah. no more zippers for me.

now it kinda looks fugly, but hey, ppl wont try to steal from someone with a torn bag right?

For normal walkabout, I use Think Tank Change Up with some TTP pouches or Crumpler 5MDH.
