6. Extra SD card

Birding:
1. 500D+Grip
2. 300mm +1.4 tele
3. Monopod or tripod
4. Extra Batteries
5. Cloth + Brush

4 - 6 just put in a waist pouch the rest just sling.

Actually I do change lenses depending on what I'm shooting:

Landscape: 5D + 17-40
Portrait: 5D + 70-200
Sports: 7D + 70-200
Events needing standard zoom: 7D + 17-40

Not sure if you're asking me, but I don't usually carry two bodies for walkabout. I have a smaller bag that holds one body + one lens.

i don't have a camera bag. i just throw everything into my timberland haversack

in it... my PNS.. plus my A550, work notebook PC and whatever lens i decide to bring out... plus my flash and waterbottle. oh and tripod if i'm heading out at night
