nope.. I would say the 35L also, thats if I actually own one..

otherwise its my 17-40.. or 50 1.4 when I'm shooting film..

19-35 on film.

and 50mm macro in pocket.

24-70 f2.8L for me. Worth every cent =)

Just interested. What walk around lens do you guys usually have? :)

the answer to your generic question can be as long as the canon lens list...

so, why the question? do you have something specific in mind?

I'll be 16-35mm, 24-70mm and 70-200mm lens... all f 2.8.......... ;p

24-70 on my cropped body. 50f1.4 in the bag.

The 16-35 goes along if I feel like carrying more and is expecting some wide shots.

I think the intent, purpose and mood plays a big role. Sometimes, its just the 50f1.8 without the battery grip.

It's 24-105 for me, though I usually tag the 70-200 just in case 105mm is lacking. :)

:Later,

for me, if travelling here is the lens
F1.4 50mm, F2.8, 24mm and 10-22 Wide Angle and 55-250IS for zoom....

previously it was canon EF-S 17-85mm
now is sigma 24-70 f2.8

Oh, interested cos I was thinking if most people walk around with at least a 35mm equivalent 28mm wide, or primes, or just 28mm zooms.

35L or the 50f1.4 depending on mood.

Tamron 17-50, my usual walkaround lens.

Another gd choice would be the 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 L IS on a FF, if cost and weight is no issue.
