J3 i think its going to be tough.. want to consider a F6? i think should be able to fit 1-7 in..

Thanks. I think I prefer J2 over F6.

oh.. I am not quite sure about the size of Oly size... I guess J2 is the one for you.. If I only bring like 1 lens mounted on the cam and the flash only most of the time, I will go for J3

Actually F6 is pretty cool too.. I have never pay attention to it until FilterFunk talk about it  It is a scale down of the F2 without the side pockets  nice! Now I eyeing on this Sand version.....

this is the bag i originally wanted to buy what..
just that CP dont bring it in for the last 2 shipments or so :(

I am undecided between J2 or J3. Like the J2 for its size and versatility but not sure if it's too big for simple day trips. Wish I can afford to buy both but too $$$ for me, so have to choose either one.

Any comments & recommendations to help me decide? Thanks.

For day trips for items 1-4, I would think J3 should suffice for 1 body + 2 lenses + flash + PnS. You can put the flash and PnS in each side pockets, and accessories in the front pouch. That leaves the body + 2 lenses in the main compartment.

Depending on how tight you'd like to pack, you can slot in further your RF + lens + grip & battery into the main compartment. If your PnS is small, it can share space with the 50mm lens or your RF in the side pocket.

If you work out of the bag, meaning you want easy & fast access to and from the bag while on the go, it's probably better to pack it a little loose. That being the case, J3 might be a little difficult to work, and J2 might be a better choice for all items 1-7 ? But if your treat the bag purely as a transport medium, then J3 should be enough.

Personally I like it a little loose, so for single lens mounted on body, J3's the choice, anything more, I'd go for the J2.

bro.. f3X is better la  Maybe F6 demand not high la

not that i am complaining there is no F6, i am still a happy man.. tried carrying today with my full gear.. maybe i am too used to a backpack.. had a slight aching shoulder now.. :bsmilie:

Yup, I think J3 is too limited for me. For a simple day outing, I will make do with my other 'free-gift' camera bags. Will probably get the J2. Thanks.

...

Sand colour one...you'll be getting the F2. The J2, like all other journalist series bags, only come in black ballistic nylon. (:
