u see in this thread, just by the threadstarter asking the question abt sony's alpha, so many people go everywhere dig up pics etc. and help to inform this product to so many people already.. and they habnt start any out-marketing campaign besides the press conference..
talk about marketing in the new economy :thumbsup: (as of the time i wrote this reply, 956 users have clicked and know more about this dslr by sony in a matter of less than a few days, imagine the audience reached by june...and considering that a lot of ppl everywhere are asking..)

It probably will be a big disapointment. (I hope they will surprise us with good stuff).
Price, no way I am shelling out US$3K even if it weather seal 9 body. If it is not a 9 body, I probably will not buy anyway. So, as far as I am concerned, SONY better get it right if they want to keep the loyal Minolta lovers.
If they think they are going to compete with N and C on the high end with high end price, it would be loosing battle as far as market gain goes. Only people they succer in would be us Minolta fans (well maybe sony fans as well). They would probably sale low end DSLR more to their SONY base though.
