These 3 photos are simply brilliant! I love the profile of the spiral staircase! You made excellent use of it to blend it into the frame with the couple! AWESOME!

May I ask how u managed your pace so fast? As in did you ask the bride to wait for you to take the shots?
I took photos for my cousin during his BIG day but failed miserably when he and his bride moved out from the house to the carpark.

I fully understood the difficulties and challenges of doing wedding photography (not including studio) after just that day! LOL

Joe

Thanks Joe.

The natural/journalistic shots are usually not posed. I usually only pose for portraits unless the scene is so fantastic that we cannot do without it. Since it was your first time shooting on a big day, it is quite normal blow a shot here or underexpose a shot there because as you mentioned the pace can be quite hectic. I guess you get better with time and experience. One way to make the transition from house to carpark easier is to go down ahead of the couple and get the exposure right first. Always think ahead. Then you won't miss as much. ;)

The lighting in the room makes this image really beautiful. The composition with the mirror reflecting the bride with the parents is just right.
