The lighting in the room makes this image really beautiful. The composition with the mirror reflecting the bride with the parents is just right. :thumbsup:

thanks bro.. and totally agree that the light streaming into the room that day was fantastic

here's a few more images from the banquet on the 2nd day

all your photos are so inspiring! the lighting and exposures are excellent. did u take in raw and post process all these? What are the lens u used?

@Michael Chan,
Very nice and impressive portfolio, a lot of members should learn from yours, not vice versa.

Thanks but we must always learn, if not, we will be living within oneself and will soon become stagnant in terms of creativity! Works from other photogs always gives me new perspectives and inspirations ;) Their exceptional works also drives me to get better everyday

Hey is the bride shu yi? I am still figuring out how can you get the flare so nicely done.

coz i see her so chio, was about to faint. but before i fall, i managed to squeeze the shutter one last time! wahaha

no lar.. seriously, it's becoz there was a guy sitting on the right of her... and on the left of her someone standing there (if u peep closely, can see a little of that person lol), since i wanted to isolate her so tilt lor

well.. the bride is called Michelle, not sure her chinese name though... coz i never called her by that name before! hahaha

as for the flare.. i dunnoe... luck i guess... coz cannot really determine if really will have flare under such fast moving environment... only thing I know is that I gotta make sure my subjects are in focus... coz such strong backlit situation may cause the cam to misfocus, flare or not... like i said... see luck lor, i really never think much about it anyway
