This shot was taken just before the groom arrived, while the bridal party are conjuring their evil plans. Our beautiful bride was sitting there alone, with her eyes closed. I can barely begin to decipher a tenth of the plethora of emotions that must be running through her. But rather then asking her what's on her mind, what I did was try to capture the moment the best way that I can, and maybe some years down the road, I can ask her again, what she was thinking at that very instant!
The image may not work for everybody, but to me, it works because, an image have to conjure a feeling/deep thought in the audience (the audience may or may not be a photographer :bsmilie
and by making you think a little, I have already achieved my goal.
Also, why I chose to shoot it this way, a silhouette showing just that little teeny tiny bit of her facial features. Is to allow the audience just a hint that our bride is in deep thoughts, but everything else, we cannot see or decipher, just like how I was unable to understand completely what was going through her mind at that very moment.
