I think it depends on the vintage and condition. A few were offered for sale on CS BnS the past few months, price range from $400 & up.
Yeah. It was quite low and then some pple selling high. On the average I do see ard $600 plus.
Thanks guys for your inputs.buy a 1.4, the bokeh is almost comparative but it's easier to nail focus. f1.2 lenses have a slightly larger amount of distortion too...
Hi. I hope I am not out of topic here.
May I know what screen you have ordered & for what body?
I have used them on the film body, I just swap them out with the split prism type but nothing for DSLR is available from Nikon.
It is a chore to nail focus with my middle age eyes on the DSLR screen but really nice to use the MF lens with a split prism on the FSLR.
One can easily see the image snap into focus at the split prism.
No la. F1.2 would forever be prized.
It's F1.2 for a reason. It's good to start w F1.4 which I am sure many of us did. Eventually it's 1.2

Loving my F1.2 lenses
If those looking for it can't find one at bns, they can look for it at black market cameras at peninsula shopping center.
Though it's a little more pricey, you can test all of of them out. Price ranges from 390 - 890
I have no idea what to do with a 1.2
Give it a try for portraiture. You may very well have a different opinion about it after that.
I have a plethora of 50mm in my dry cabinet. Nothing comes close to how the 50mm f/1.2 renders an image at f/1.2.
Stopped down it is better than the latest 1.4G & 1.8G in sharpness. It only loses on contrast when compared to latest 50mm.
