Can anyone help? I have a pre-ai Nikkor-P 105/2.5. Where can I have it AI'ed?

I used to adapt this lens on my Sony a6000 and absolutely loved it even over the 15-bladed Pentacon 135/2.8.

I've since switched to Nikon D7100. I know I can't use it on this body so I either have to get it AI'ed or sell it away (which I'm doing cos I don't know where to get it converted).

Can try the usual repair shops like De Camera Consultant or Camera Hospital etc. Hopefully they still have the conversation kit for your lens

AI conversion can be done by simply filing the excess metal on the aperture ring

1st encounter... quickly took a snap before it slides back into the trees....
Lesson learned don't use a manual lens

I actually have two versions of this lens a Q late Sonnar version and a 77 or 78 model Ai version. This is one of those cheap treasures...they can be had for very reasonable money. Other versions of the 135 are available but i have always preferred this old formula in the 52mm lens cap size which matches my whole kit. I have an old Q 135/2.8 Nikkor I paid like $35 or something trivial like that for it and that lens is also a secret weapon. These snaps are made with the Ai and a D5K body few months back.
