this is a hilarious thread...!
imagine if all ur wives do have a shopping forum where they always organize shopping sprees withour ur knowledge, and often eye products like Gucci, Prada, just as many here eye L lenses!!
the reality of us married photogr here in CS is really funny. esp in this thread..had a gd laugh:bsmilie:

life's short and that's why we should make our writing as hilarious as possible!

Maybe a lot of single or newly married CS members will NOT agree with us (bonded old birds), i think most of us don't get a great deal from our marriage (in term of $$$). We worked like hell for the past so many years and our $$$ are always not enough for our kids' education, insurance, daily expenses, etc... But when we spent some $$$ for our interests, such as THAT powerful pc, mp3, golf, car, etc (in this case, the L lens) whapiangz.... all the nagging starts... you spend, spend, spend, you not scare of no saving when you are old, etc.....

But if you look carefully at our wardrobe and our room, you will notice that on average, 85% of the available space will already be occupied by her (clothings, cosmetics, shoes, etc) and I bet you, your dry-cabi will be in a corner of the study or some in the store room! And you are always left wondering how come it is always like that? How come before marriage, she always buy you the new shirt or pant but now, aiya, old alreadys and not enough space in the wardrobe ... no need to buy new shirt ... :dunno:

Surely you would nag too if your wife spends a lot of money on things we deem unnecessary, ie another handbag, more shoes, more make-up, haircut that costs $300 when ours is only $8.

I'm sure you guys do that too especially when the wife buys shoes and handbags even though we have no more room for those #$&@(#@ junk!!!

So, whenever I buy lenses or a new body, I usually keep a low profile and don't tell her about it
What she won't know won't hurt her.....

If I go out with her, I pull the same stunt as Canonised....we go our separate ways and I put my new goodies in the car and act as if I never bot anything....:bsmilie:

Hmmm..... a terrible tot juz occured to me.

Wonder what will happen if she pulls the same stunt on me as she has the car keys too.
She can also put her stash into the car before meeting up. Afterall, our car has a lot of hiding places and compartments.

Interesting to see what will happen if we were to find each other's stash of clothes or lenses.......

No choice, when you woo her that time already promise to take care of her ma.. So everything must think of her first than come to others than lastly yourself..:sweat:

For 1 lens you bought she can buy at least 5 nice clothes or 1 branded bags. :think:

Good question, how long able to give in?
Well many spouse has taken things for granted where the other party has given-in too often.
Or rather we should say to compromise with logical understanding but this is easier to say than to be done.

When comes to a point where failed to give-in (over the limit of acceptance), then that is the point where broken marraiges happen (no turning back).
