A new and exciting digital imaging studio is seeking young and creative individuals to fill 2 the following positions:

1. Administrative Staff
- Can be of either gender. (Pleasant looking ladies preferred)
- Approachable and friendly personality.
- Some basic computer word processing skills. (WordPad)
- Preferably with some knowledge in image editing software. (Photoshop / Photoshop Elements)
- Interest and experience in photography will be a bonus.
- Six days work week with one day off. (Mondays)
- Working hours from 12pm – 9pm. (Rotational 1 hour dinner break)
- Expected salary $800.

2. Photographer
- Must have some basic photography knowledge.
- Done some portraiture photography. (Portfolios a bonus)
- Can be of either gender. (Creative gentlemen or experienced ladies preferred)
- Spontaneous and creative character.
- Some basic computer word processing skills. (WordPad)
- Preferably with some knowledge in image editing software. (Photoshop / Photoshop Elements)
- Must have a keen eye for basic image compositions.
- Willingness to learn and explore new photographic ideas and concepts a must.
- Six days work week with one day off. (Tuesdays)
- Working hours from 12pm – 9pm. (Rotational 1 hour dinner break)
- Expected BASIC salary $800. (First 3 months probation / subsequent pay increments will range from $200 - $400 or more depending on performance)

Have u heard of admin clerk 5 days wk with basic pay at least $1000 ? this is cheap labour man....

I think cheap labour or not is subjective to each person's opinion. If there is a job with income for someone whom needs the money, why not just work and in the same time earn experience? Anyway, your 6 days week is Tues - Sun? Where is the location?

Its not office bound and its in a retail outlet. Please read the papers to get yourself updated with regards to the pay scale that is being offered presently for the above position in the retail sector. I did not set a criteria that the applicant is Poly, Uni, 'A' levels, 'O' levels, 'N' levels or primary school educated. This is position is for individuals regardless of education level to apply, simply because of their interest in having a job thats photography related.

I'm offering this position for someone manning a retail outlet. They don't pay $1k for retail staff. I'm not hiring a staff for a position as sales supervisor, but administrative staff. I would appreciate that you get your facts and figures right before you mouth off.

Agreed with shutterdah that this is plain exploitation. Consider that after CPF, the take home pay is only $640. Factoring in transportation and meal costs, what is left is even lesser. Unless STShooter is targetting at retirees or students awaiting their results, I think no sane person would want to consider working for a mere $800.

Lets not judge or criticise what is being offered. Its an open market, someone is offering job(s) and I am sure that there will equally be people who are interested in taking up the offer.
