Has any bro tried out this lens before? Look interesting to me. Price about S$900.

The only Macro lens in the world that uses 2 Aspherical and 2 Extra Dispersion elements!

The Voigtlander 125mm f/2.5 APO-Lanthar has 11 elements in 9 groups. With 9 rounded aperture blades, it delivers the smoothest and most pleasant bokeh!

The lens has a brightest aperture of f2.5, making it the fastest macro lens in the world! Most macro lens when focus to 1:1 will have some light lost due to the high magnification but this is not the case with the Voigtlander 125SL. The lens keeps its brightest aperture at f2.5 even at 1:1! Many might not need the f2.5 aperture in macro shot, but the fast speed helps keep the viewfinder bright at all time thus easier in manual focusing!

If one needed the slow speed, he/she can always stop down to the smallest aperture f22.

This is a MACRO LENS, maximum magnification of 1:1 with the closest focusing distance of 0.38m.

very strange lor... thought most like Tamron & Sigma always indicate Nikon & Canon have electronic contacts, and Pentax & Minolta is not...

Wonder how much it'll be? :dunno:

$900  Definitely out of my budget. Think I'll stick to my humble Tamron 90mm. :)

tamron 90 is . i just wanna try something new ma. furthermore, since i have passion in macro, thought of getting one to try.

The KM/Sony mount is not in production anymore. Was sold out long long time ago.

Infact, only M42 mount is available. But limited supply.

If you can find an adapter to mount M42 to the Sony/Minolta body, it's still possible to use this lens.
