Looking for a videographer on 17th Nov 2010. To shoot a dog show at the singapore expo. from about 9-9 pm. Budget $300-350. Lunch provided. Interested pls pm me thanks
PS: To be shot in HD and burn into dvd both raw and edited.

my brother was initially commissioned to shoot this event at a cut throat price after being informed that this is for a non-profit organization. The thread starter has even said that he needs a couple of days to get back to "them". wonderful imagination he has.

Please be upfront and truthful in regards to the nature of the shoot next time. I was lucky to step in before my brother actually shot the event. If there is no "non-profit" organization involved, please refrain from using that term or try to manipulate it. It is akin to an individual going around collecting donations for a non-existent charity. A wedding is non-profit too, but no one in this blue world would use that word when haggling prices with a photographer/videographer.

I understand if you are in low budget and want to commission students/beginners to cover this event for your own benefit, but is just ethical to let people know. and not lie.

This was the pm msg . You offered $350 and not I asked for it. Its true its a non profit event. If you think there are claims that are not true and you are unwilling to accept its perfectly fine with me . But don't be a coward by using another name to post. Anyway I have found another videographer therefore thread is closed.

Editing: Free. will be edited into a 1 hour or less highlights video on Final Cut Studio
Delivery: 1 week, burned to DVD.

well its all cool then, I'm here to protect videographers, whether its myself, my brother, or my grandmother posting using the same nick or whatever that ur saying in self defense. it doesn't matter, as long as people are aware of this worrying use of the term
