That is exactly the name given to this thread and what do you folks think
of the thread starter? It says something about him though, isn't it?
"horrible"; "unprofessional"; "totaly disgusted" and so on... these words are very damaging. What do you think of people using such damaging words on a real commercial enterprise whom some folks here do frequently visit?
I am sure there are other ways to solve the problem or to give warning of this shop behavior.
The is a fine example where the fundamental of prosperity is lacking, resulting in unhappy customers going online. But if the young photographer himself has the foundation of intelligent manner, he won't have to struggle burning all his energy to promote the "right" behavior.

or give them something not so much like
social pressures for them to change.![]()

That is common behavior. At least you didnt encounter something like this , when paying for the item already, the person next to you was offered a lower price with freebies for the same thing! and the salesperson attending to you refused to give you the same or at least the freebies. Imagine that would be worst.
Like what most people said. Look for the regular chap in the store, the names for every store is already posted around the forum. Granted you got a bad experience this time, your previous time wasnt bad right? Beats going to other shops and getting **** service all the time.

Or maybe you never read them at all?
photo said:Most seem to forget, Lords is still a Lucky Plaza style shop. And if you know Lucky Plaza, you'd be the wiser to sterotype Lords as a Lucky Plaza shop.
If you want to know a James, I'd recommend the James at TK Foto located at Shaw Towers instead. He'd serve everybody I know with a smile and good attitude.
You're paying for services, after, before and during purchase. Saying you need to find a correct salesperson is the key to making a happy purchase is not totally wrong, but if that's the case, why have that salesperson around if only James is good?
There are so many better shops with average or good sales services and doesn't just ignore you or talk rudely, bochuply to you. You as a consumer why should you suffer this kind of behaviour when you're emptying your wallet/salary into the store?
Take my advice, go TK Foto or Cathay Photo instead. Good price, good services, no double standard(s).
Nope. If you got crap from them say it like it is, no need to tone down, if everyone tone down the end loser will be customer service.stinkyfoot17 said:So you mean to say I should be more mild in the way I titled my thread ?
jnet6 said:I second to that!!!
depends on ppl, some people see liao maynot interested to serve u so just avoid it.
stinkyfoot17 said:So may be I should just go into the shop the new time and ask 'Are you James? If not, please do not serve me. I only want this James guy, who everybody is singing praises about.'
What and how would you feel if you are in his shoes? If all / most people just go look for the 'Nice, service-oriented, friendly, courteous salesperson' that was recommeded, how are the rest of the salespeople going to earn their commission ?
To get another person's respect, you 1st have to earn the respect of others.
Don't go to work like everybody owes you a living. worst still if you are in the retailing line.
Ever seen Giordano staff not greet you, even though their cat/dog have died ? Or if they have just broken up with their partners?
stinkyfoot17 said:Anyhow, to your last point, of coz, here's the cost of the BR-3 - $40.
Anyone with comments to the $? For me, i felt that it was alittle expensive, as i got a BR-2A at $25. As the specs are almost similiar, so how come such a huge difference in pricing? As I'm a newbie, these are my thots.

Whether shop or clubsnap who u meet depend on your luck sometimes. Its relatively more or less cases only.
I just bought a contax from TRucxxxx,2 weeks ago, tell me to try out the film cam first, but after the second rolls of film, shutter not working / dead,pm few time no more response. Its yours damaged property anyway.
So its just your luck,we cant do nothing as no contract paper signed, always can say at the point of sale its all right,no need to argue.
