Users' feedback - SANYO 2500 replacement exercise

My 2 pieces of Sanyo 2500mAh batteries seem to discharge completely within 7 days after full charge without use. The batch no. 04-12-OA. It is not worth the effort to take half day leave to exchange the battery ($8 only) at their office. I believe Sanyo should make it possible to exchange the battery on Saturday and Sunday as it is not convenient for many people to do it on working day.

I have 20 sanyo 2500s but it is too difficult to go down on weekdays.
If SANYO would open a few hours on saturday morning will be good enough for me !!!

Do they do exchange for Energizer 2500mAh also? It seems to be Sanyo OEM.

Awww.. then I've got to find Energizer to change them for me.

I changed mine a week ago, charged them up on Sat. One set has been in my camera since then. Both sets are still fine, no problems with them yet.

I am not sure if those makes are directly related. Anyway, as long as you are using SANYO batteries, I am here to help. As for those who had experienced problems with 2100s and 2300s, I ve oredi feedback to SANYO...... thanks for raising your problems

hi, I am charging four brand new sanyo 2500mha batteries. But one of the four leds on the charger keeps flickering. I feel there is something wrong. The batch of that battery is 05 03 0A.

Anyone can advice? thanks!!!

Hi AhV,

The new batteries that I exchange are working great!
I Haven't. had any problems with it (so far so good).
at least it gave me 300 shot for a 6pcs. of freshly recharged batteries.
(Its a good thing It is still holding charges).

Thank you sanyo(company) for the replacement batteries & good service.
The lady from sanyo even waited up to 7:30pm just to exchange the batteries.:thumbsup:

Some say Powerex 2500mAH is better than Sanyo :dunno: . Re-charge up to 1000x compare to Sanyo 500x.

If not in hurry, better to wait for Powerex 2700mAH :sweatsm: .

i am waiting for my old Sony 2100 (i think is 2100) to be more or less spoilt. have been using for nearly 2 years....then get the sanyo one.

thus, if no technical problems, then maybe I will buy the sanyo 2500 in next few months....

Damn... I thought that I bought new batches of Sanyo 2500mAH batteries it would not have this problem anymore, WRONG.

My latest batch bought from AP SL 05-03 0A used 3 times only and one of the battery is dead.

How does Sanyo do QA?
