Yes, i'm amazed as well.. If you have been to Bkk, and been to Siam Paragon, they have the theatre call, Grand Pavalai theatre. The top VIP area is 90% full, and 40% full down there.

They could have used the awesome CGI technology to create a transformers movie based on the original autobots and decepticons but NOOOOOO, they had to go create these stupid looking robots that look ugly as hell
Still, the first movie had a decent enough storyline to prevent it from blasted by the fans. But this 2nd movie is really rotten to the core
not only are we poisoned by ugly looking robots, we get a script that has 1 million loopholes as well.
Not to mention the ridiculous panning motion that michael bay does for ALL his movies

the only thing i dont like is the action camera, they are too close to the transformers while transforming & fighting. *headache*

The only complaint I have about the movie is that it changes alot on the original story. Also, it compress alot of the action into 1 movie.
Other than that, CGI is better than the cartoon movie version where Unicorn is the Planet Eater n it takes the combine force of both sides to stop it from eating up Cybertron.
The size of the robots differs alot in the movie. Scorpionork is suppose to be as huge as a based station city that holds the decepticons. Where is Defensor when Devastator transform n merge?
Also, Devastator looks damn ugly. Still prefer the robot version, not a monster.

Well... the story is "supposed" to mess up with the cartoon version so you won't feel "the same" isn't it?

it's a Michael Bay movie.
if he could make a group of non-astronauts save the world with little to no space training, I'm sure he can make a few soldiers and tanks save the world too.

But i feel it is true mah... just modern earthly weapons shower bombs & missiles on the robots, they can be killed off, especially the stupid 'devastator'. Provided they got anti missiles measures or can detect themselves being locked on... :think: i think Starscream is the only one that have & can... :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Ok, compare to part 1, i feel that part 2 is much better with more actions then robots talking and acting cute to make audience laugh. Although the actions is a bit messy... but i think they did pretty well already. Its very hard to compare actual movie vs cartoon version.

i think many mistaken the movie with the cartoon.
Cos this movie transformers... although they are robots, they are not really almighty. Cos they are under disguise of vehicles, planes etc. So why not the humans cannot 'kill' them? Dun tell me, these vehicles and planes are bomb proof and indestructible?
Anyway, i still feel this movie is AWESOME! haha.

u mean that leopard like robot? it actually got 'injured' while trying to escape away... its fast and quick thats why it did not suffer much damages...
u see towards the end... it die easily... think ripped into half by one of the autobots.
