True true.. My 'rationale' was that Ratchet didn't have time to fix Bumblebee at that point in time (i.e. fighting a war).
hahah! Yah, especially since Bumblebee's damages were quite extensive. But yeah.. Bumblebee is my hero from the movie.

Thank you Micheal Bay for showing me an idea of what Macross would be like in real life movie. (part where Starscream fly in mid air, transform into robot, shoot pursuer planes and transform into jet again)
By the way there also was a vending machine robot in the movie, do you know that the vending machine in Pasir Ris bus interchange also had an autobot insignia on it?

My interpretation is that the Allspark is already there and they built the Hoover Dam to conceal it. Megatron was then brought there.
Man Megatron is quite the fool! He is so close and yet so far from the Allspark. :bsmilie: All because he can't defroze himself!

Hmm.....yes he is the hero in the movie but in the cartoon, I remember him as smart, loyal and brave but CMI due to his size. :bsmilie: Always outgunned and have to run and get help. :bsmilie:

He crashed landed and got frozen before he managed to send out the coordinates
The Witwhicky grandad accidentally triggered Megatron and got the coordinated burned into his glasses.
So... how does the rest of the robots know that they need to look for the glasses ?

don't have to think so hard lah. movies in general don't make sense. just sit back and enjoy what $9.50 can bring you...

Really enjoyed the movie. Brought back memories of yesteryears too.
Can you imagine that a 5 yr old child nad her 9 year old brother also enjoyed it and can even explain tp mummy who the good guys and the baddies in the movie are ?

Besides burning the coordinate into the glasses, Megatron transmitted knowledge of it to outer space. That is why the robots can trace it back to earth. However, Megatron doesn't know who the old fellow is. So his message most probably contains "me in frozen ice, one old man, allsparks coordinates in old man's glasses, find me, find glasses...".
So when the robots reached earth, they had to look for the information. When they hacked into the US system, they found the file where Witwhicky led the expedition to northpole and found something. So they google up the name Witwhicky. And ebay just nice got the entry of Witwhicky, glasses, north pole expedition. So they know who to look for.
Allsparks most probably resides near the Hoover Dam. Megatron is not near it when he crashed.

Just watch it. Too messy during fights between robots. Can't tell which is which some times. Still not that good at some area whereby the radio robots can escape from the plane w/o much notice :thumbsd: The dogs don't know how to jump to attack the person, obviously kelong! Overall, 4/5 from me. ;p

Yeah but he is cute due too his small size and is one of the main lead characters besides the leaders.

Just went to catch it a second time cos (gf haven't watched so must go.. heh) and I thot the action/fight scenes between robots were too blurry during the first time I watched it. I must say I was better able to identify the action (i.e., battle between Optimus Prime and Devastator: After the two fell down from the highway, I could actually see Optimus grab Devastator's neck with his hand, twirl him ard like a ragdoll and then sink his dagger into the decepticon's head). Recommend you catch it again or buy the DVD. Definitely a good addition to your DVD collection!
Abt the dogs...hmm.. maybe they can't jump high enough cos got 3m of chain tied ard their necks?
I heard rumours that the producers are planning a 5-series run of Transformers. Wonder if Dinobots will be coming in?? "GRIMLOCK, SMASH!!!!"
