am interested if this is purely a photo trip. coverage only siem reap / angkor? if i decide to join based on the plans, can i make my only flight arrangements and join you guys in siem reap?

We are covering Siem Reap / Angkor, and taking a few day trips in the vicinity, such as to Beng Mealea and a floating village.

I don't fully understand the meaning of "purely a photo trip". Photography will be something we'll be doing there and I will make some plans to get to a few choice spots for sunrise and sunset shots.

As for only making flight plans and joining us, I'm not too sure how much logistical overhead I can bear, if there are more who want to do it this way. The work may seem small, but if there are different DIY splinter groups, it's going to be tough for me to account for everyone.

Seriously, I applaud Kaywalk's effort to organise something of such a major outing, I want to join, but my wallet hasn't recovered from my Japan trip.

For those who are keen on joining, it's very tedious and painful to do logistics, I would seriously suggest that you folks follow her plans and schedules accordingly.
