took the shot from quite far away.. near the fujikyu highlands park. by the way, love your 'memories of hokkaido' thread! your pictures are a real inspiration..!

didnt go anywhere near mt fuji.. it was raining that morning so we thought not to go up what a mistake.. as it stopped raining soon after we got there!

thanks for the kind words! you're going to Japan soon? if i can give any advice, it would be to snap away! and bring lots of memory cards.. not often can make such a trip so dont be like me, came home and regretting not having taken more pictures..! haha

yeah.. i will be there frm 4th april till 11th april.. i got only 1 8gb cf card.. but i think shld be ok as i will bring my laptop there too..

thanks man! how cold is it there now? when i was there, it ranged from -1 to 16 deg. the temperature itself is quite comfortable, but it is really chilly when the wind blows.. brrr!

that was cold..

the -1 deg was only for one of the mornings... most of the time it was a comfortable 5-12deg. a tshirt and a jacket will do just fine.
