Samyang 14mm

I had read up on this lens. I will say it is value for money. As I am a DX user, I willing to pay more for the Tokina 11-16 f2.8 instead of Samyang 14mm prime which is the next lens i am getting. For now, i am getting my 70-200 VRII. Hehe. Furthermore, I got poor eyesight, so AF-S is very important to me.

I intend to sell this lens but after reading some posts here that indicate that this lens can be used on a FF camera at 15-16mm, I have second thoughts. Thanks to all for the info. It's a very good lens. Here are some shots I took some time ago.

Finally, I think I had overcome the difficulty of posting photos here.

14mm will only make sense on FF.

It's not very good for it because it's too wide and far…i tried it for food shots and other close up shots…quite impossible to be close to your subject.

Why is cpl bad?

I was reading through the thread and although this is an old question and never answered, just like to point people to some of the previously posted photos

Observe the skyline, it's self explanatory. For the science bit, polarizers cut off light at an angle, and since UWA captures a wide angle it's effect will not be consistent... Opt for a grad ND instead!

I still like the colour of the second picture even though the polarization did not cover the entire sky.

yea but some ppl find it weird lol... the first pic did look weird =\

I really hope to get this lens... don't know if it will be too much to use it as a walkaround lens ><

It's not really good for portraits or maybe I'm not experienced enough. One shot here:
