do you guy mind share what filter combination you are using?

I was actually wanting to ask, which kind of filter you guy use it with, eg.

CPL, which make, Which model,
ND filter, ND400 or ND110, ND8 and etc,
Use Cokin/tian ya (which combination)?
UV, Sky or clear filter? which make and which model..

I am actually trying to know what is the User preferences.

@Egnaro: I use a Kenko Zeta UV filter together with my Tokina 11-16. If I'm shooting daytime long exposure shots, I use a Hoya ND400. Both won't cause vignetting with the lens, but vignetting will occur if you stack them. Cheers!

Lee filter holder configured to 2 slots.
Lee big stopper 10 stop
Hitech 100mm filters gnd 2,4,8 & nd8
No cpl since cpl give problems on uwa.
When not shooting at night, kenko pro1d protector filter.

Sold all my cokin filters and holders (p series) because it vignettes at 11 and 12mm. Yes even the wide angle p holder.

What type of filter to use depends on what is the final image u wanted.
Cpl is good to remove reflection, nd for extending exposure time, uv for .... etc.(more info available if u do a search here) Personally, I have used Tokina cpl with b+w nd110 with Tokina uv filter on my toki n it works fine

(All of my current zooms are 77mm filter threads, so i use the CP/ND across different lenses).

I asking this mainly reason as follow,

1) how is cpl perform on this UWA, I also know that the result may not be good for cpl on UWA, but bad is it?

2) ND filter, to use big stopper or ND110? I lean toward Nd110 as big stopper will create a blue color cast and nd110 give more natural colour. Btw who is using ND110 together with Lee GND? and how is the result? Mind share?

3) UV is more straight forward. I guess most prefer B+w xs-pro uv-haze or equivalent due to it slim profile.

I'm using a Tokina CPL but personally, i have seen the B+W one and think that it is not bad and is much thinner so less likely to cause vignett at maximum wide.

You have to use a slim filter or the cokin z holder for this toki to avoid vignette on a nikon crop body.

I'm going to get a Tokina 11-16mm soon this year.. Personally my interest in photography is to shoot landscapes, and getting a wide angle lens is going to help me in my interest.. I'm excited about getting the Tokina 11-16mm, and I have some questions.. Hope you guys can help.

1. What brand and make of filters will be the best for this lens?
Some recommend that Cokin P-series filters is good enough for this lens, however I fear that vignetting will occur when I use it with the lens and I do not want to buy the wrong filter series. Will Lee Filters be better?

Q1 Ans >Not sure on this. Guess its personal preference. I only use Tokina n b+w screw on type.
Q2 Ans> can try b+w
Q3 Ans> come with hood when purchase.

U can try john 3:16 or some of the mass sales dealer.77mm filter not hard to get. Price if I remember correctly is 100+.

Seems more like a stripped open atx116. All the black metal exterior removed
