16th August 2010.. Getai schedule..
Getai you can consider watching:
- Toa Payoh Lor 8, Blk 1003 (Host: Hao Hao & Liu Ling Ling, Guest: Ming Zhu sisters)
- Woodlands Ave 4, Blk 888 (Host: Wang Lei)
Have a nice day!!
ZZZZZ it's raining heavily at my office now. can't ride home. Toa Payoh near my house but now seems so far
as a mark of respect, the first row is reserved for them, as in its tradition from way back in the past.
Over the past few years, during the 7th Lunar Month (Hungry Ghost Festival), there have been many people going to shoot Getai performances.
This year, I think there are still who wants to shoot the Getai performances..
An Getai insider told me to remind photographers these things when they go shooting..
Here are some things that you can take note of:
- Some Getai do not encourage people to take photos.
- If strange things happened (power trip, rain, mic no volume etc.) while snapping photos, please respect by stop shooting (a belief that "good brothers" are not happy).
- If nobody is sitting on the first row (but have chairs), try not to stand right in front to snap pics.
Something worth taking pics..
Ming Zhu sisters may be having their last year on stage as a pair (maybe you can try snapping shots of them together on stage).
GOOD LUCK!!!
I was just told about this from a Getai insider..
REFRAIN FROM PHOTOGRAPHY of Getai in temples...
