Spring is almost here ... looks like its time to go Sunflower hunting again. Vast amounts of sunflowers can be found in the entire southwest of France especially around the Cognac, Bordeaux, Pau and Toulouse areas.

If you ever do visit Cognac. Dont forget to drop by Remy Martin and take the tour. It costs less than 15E per head and last around 2 hours with some cognac tasting at the end. If you like sweet liquers try the Remy Martin Pineau .. so far I have not found any liquor shops that stock it .. apparently its a unique item that you can only get at the Remy Martin distillery or house.

Patience finally paid off in the form of a brilliant sunset amidst the surging rising tide.

omg.. these are beautiful.......!!!!

During our last Italy roadtrip we stopped by Milan.. ah the beautiful city of fashion and food. I decided to take the metro to the Duomo and grab some shots. The piazza was crowded with locals, tourists and touts (selling fake handbags and pigeon feed). Just as I lined up for a WA shot of the Piazza and the Duomo these 2 pigeons flew in front of me .... SNAP!

To all the soccer fans .. this is a shot in San Siro stadium. I was there when Inter Milan won the Serie A .. it was crazy!! Cars and bikes were zooming all over the place honking their horns.. people were running all over with their Inter Flags n Jerseys ... it was a WARZONE!! I couldnt get the shots of the Inter seats (which we were told were the green seats, blue for AC milan) so i took the common red seats ..

Amalfi Coast

During our tour of Italy we travelled along the fabled Amalfi coast thru the towns of Malori, Minori, Ravello, Amalfi and Positano before heading to Sorrento.

We reached Positano about 20mins before official sunset. The sun was already low on the horizon and blocked by the Amalfi terrain to the North West. We were treated to a a sight I've never witnessed before. The sky turned a light pastel colour (i guess from the water reflection and the scattering of light). It was truly amazing.

From Positano looking west towards the islands of Gallo Lungo (the 3 outcrops in the lower left portion of the photo).
