Frankly speaking, I'm quite a short guy who always cares about the length of pants whenever I shop for it :bheart: . Does anyone have an idea on how we can alter our jeans in a way that we can keep the design of the bottom line (see pic). I heard there was this kind of alteration method which can keep the design, anyone knows where?

Hi.

I thought I've seen it being done @ Levis ... but not sure it'll involve extra cost and the turnaround time ...

Alternatively, I just fold it up lor ...

alteration is free at levis... thats if you buy from levis:bsmilie:

Nono, I mean alter and still remain the washed out design. Most of the alterations just cut and sew, which is very very ugly.

wash out? put vinegar lor...

can let someone wear it for some time, return it to you when it seasoned / weathered / washout.

try to ask when you buy the jean, they usually know where to get alteration like this. it is like they 'connect' the washed out part after cutting the jean.

i think i bought a jean in levis, those 'engineered' jean, and when i asked for alteration of length, they gave me a card, a shop in lucky plaza.

tear it man! jeans in singapore very conservative leh, japanese wear all kinds of jeans :bsmilie:

I don't think alteration is free at Levis, even if you buy a pair from them. I remember being charged for alteration, despite paying for a $130+ pair of jeans. :sticktong
