Blank field checking for Price & Description message wrong.
Good suggestion. I will look into this.Terence said:1. The "Preview Post" button is missing. Always good to see how your ad will look like, especially so if you're using html tag.
The Buy/Sell forums was never originally intended for listing of multiple items in a single thread. In any case, I am open to suggestions here on how to make it more effective.Terence said:2. Not very friendly if you want to list multiple items on one thread.
A bolder Contact field? Please elaborate.Terence said:3. A bolder "Contact" field should be used to indicate preferred method of contact (email, PM or phone).
That is a feature of the WYSIWYG editor. We are not using that in the form, hence the case. I will look into implementing the WYSIWYG editor at a later stage.Terence said:4. Email addresses are not automatically converted to links anymore.
As I have mentioned in (4), I will look into implementing a WYSIWYG editor at a later stage, for now, you can still add pictures via a link but manually. See here.Terence said:5. Maybe an option to add pictures via a link can be provided in the initial ad creation page.

If you can post here, that means your account is still active.Stoned said:I can't post!! wanted to repost to conform to the new format but seems i can't do so
whenever i click "I agree to the terms and conditions" i get asked to log in again, bringing me to the same loop.

Just a question...
If i want to add in photo for the item for sale...i put it in the desciption area?
I see what you mean. Ok, I'll test out a couple of layouts to see if we can have a better format.Terence said:Hi Edmund,
In the longer ads, the contact information tends to get lost in the listing. Some sellers like myself prefer contact via email rather than the more common method of PM which most people would usually use. Perhaps contact details could be more prominently placed closer to the top of the ad or at the bottom in slightly larger, bolder font.
Thanks for taking the suggestions. I believe this new ad placement method is the way to go given the number of new ads which gets inserted these days.
Cheers,
Terence
